What year did you start CrossFitting?

2012.

Why did you get into fitness (and CrossFit)?

In High School I wanted to improve sport performance so I was a consistent gym goer. The more I did high intensity interval training, the better athlete I became. Not only was it physically shaping my body, but mentally I was becoming a stronger person. High intensity training became an addiction and a lifestyle.

Why did you become a trainer?

In college I chose Exercise Science as my major knowing I wanted to work with individuals of all ages specifically with movement quality. CrossFit became an outlet for me and I wanted to pass on my knowledge and motivation to others. CrossFit reflected positively on so many aspects in my life and I wanted others to experience its greatness.

What’s your favorite CrossFit movement?

At 5’2″ I have to be the nerd who enjoys burpees. Being closer to the ground makes them fun and exciting.

What is your favorite cheat food?

Beer and donuts forever!

What’s your favorite Superhero and why?

Iron Man – his superior intelligence utilized technology to achieve ultimate dominance for the greater good.
